Because Regis Philbin Wasn’t Available
I’m moderating the WBN Book Story Club for my friends over at WriteByNight. It’s a monthly online book discussion, and this month they made it easy by offering a single short story. I introduced the story in a column on their weblog and will have my large opinionated foot in whatever discussion we can squeeze out of you people at the end of the month.
So go read “Uncle Rock” by Dagoberto Gilb (at the New Yorker), then look for my updates here or on Twitter and join us to deconstruct the story.
